Core Value Lesson
This interactive lesson introduces students to the six Medal of Honor values: integrity, courage, commitment, sacrifice, citizenship, and patriotism. From a gallery walk to small-group activities, students explore each value, connect it to real-world examples, and consider how their own choices and actions can reflect these principles.
Letter Writing Lesson
This lesson invites students to identify someone they admire and explore how that person demonstrates one or more Medal of Honor values. Through research and reflection, students will write a thoughtful letter expressing gratitude for the individual’s actions, choices, and positive example.
